Hello everyone!
Yes I have finally dragged my lazy butt back to the screen! Here I am with a new post, and a pic or two to accompany it. Also, on Dani's advice, I'm going to begin to feature the SBQ.
So here goes. I took some pics of my WIP's, aka my UFO's. (Poor Dani will be appalled at how little has been done on some of them!) Since I am by nature a very poor photographer, the pictures are not great, but they'll do for now. Hopefully I'll do better on my web.
This is the sampler I chose for my new niece or nephew. My SIL LOVES Winnie the Pooh, so I think this will be great for them. I was so excited to get it home and open it, then I saw how huge the fabbie was! This could take me a minute:) The kid'll be 10 before I'm done!! Next is my main pride and joy which I hardly ever seem to work on. TW's Noah's Ark. It's going to be awesome IF I ever finish it. I've even picked a bible verse to replace the alphabet and charted it and everything! One day..... This piece is absolutely fantastic. As you can see I'm over half way done the animals (over 1 of course). I've just got to keep plodding I suppose.
I've almost finished this little daydreams beach scene. I really like how these ones look when they're finished. I think this one will sit on my desk to keep me cheery:)
The last pic for tonight is an "about to be WIP" (like I need anymore!) This is one of my parent's church down in St. Simon's Island GA. My mom & dad bought me the pattern with the hope that I would stitch it for them, so I really do have to get going on it.
As I said, my photography skills are subpar, and I do apologize, but at least you can get a glimpse of what I'm working on. I did count last night when I took pics - I have 8 WIP's, 1 wanna-be WIP, and 2 UFO's. Hmmm, is that a problem?
And now for the SBQ of the week: When you start a new work do you look for something small, do you look for another huge project or do you consider your UFOs? I always consider my UFO's, and try to pick one of them. Once I've done the noble think, and pulled out something I should be working on, I spend a night going through my stash and kitting up a new random project that I really want to start and do it too. That's why I have so many darn WIP's!!
Stitch lots, enjoy the sun and drink much wine.
Cheers

Your beach scene reminds me of where I'm headed shortly on vacation - Lake Muskoka!
Noah's Ark is awesome! Over 1, really? I don't think I'm capable of doing anything over 1. My eyes would do me in!!
